Luminance is now Lightness?
« on: 2011 January 01 13:48:38 »

Hi,

I noticed that at least in some places (HDRWT, ACDNR) 'Luminance' has been replaced with 'Lightness'. Why? I didn't get the memo that Luminance is not the proper word to use :)
Best,

i think RBA asked about this somewhere else in the forum, and juan made a very detailed reply. probably in the thread about the new release.

to tie this in to bugs, i think the forum is way too complicated and has too many sub-fora, making stuff impossible to find :)

Ah. Must have missed that thread. It's easy to miss them with the board only sending 1 email even when multiple threads are started.
