Noob problem

Hello every one

I'm currently trying PI for the first time as a new owner and I came upon an error during the IC routine

I have previously converted bias and dark .cr2 files to .fit format using the recommended method. Created master bias and master dark.

During the creation of the master flat. this error came up for every file

I have join a screenshoot of the error dialog box.

Any ideas ?

i think you need to upgrade the imageintegration module... there's a sticky in the releases forum describing what you need to do.

I'm seeing a possible two things
1) you're inputing .cr2 files and correcting with Master Dark, Bias and Flats in FIT format.
I am not sure this is allowed. But I do not know for sure since I never work with CR2 format.

2) Since you are now calibrating light frames, I believe that the Optimize checkbox under the Master Dark needs to be unchecked.

downloading and installing the new module fixed the problem.

curiously I searched the forum with  "descendant" and found nothing but now I have the related post in the search results... go figure
