PCL/PIX install
« on: 2010 September 27 05:01:32 »
I have a problem with installing Pix on my new MAC, the path to the scripts is through the MAC DownLoad folder. I've tried down loading the PCL.zip file on  my Dell and made a copy of the .zip file, unzipped this copy on the Mac into the app folder, when I first start Pix it can't find the modules, I quit Pix and restart Pix, this works, it finds the path to the modules. When I try to use a script it is looking for the script in the DownLoad folder_  /USER/CVW/DownLoad/Pixinsight.app/contents/MacOS/scr/Scripts/batch******.js
What did I do wrong?

Try reseting the whole application settings (restart with the control key pressed to open the utility).

Thanks for the info, I've been talking to Vicent about the Adler workshop files during my directory path problem and he suggested deleting the Pix folder in the user/lib folder, which I assume is the same as Control clicking the program .app and resetting the app prefs , this worked.
