Hi,

when using an Image Container to apply a process container to many images, I occasionally see Windows going into hibernate mode despite the fact that the Image Container is still running. The platform is Win7-x64. I have no idea how Windows determines if it can go into hibernate, but other applications prevent Windows from  doing so while running (e.g. Windows Media Player).

Nor do I. I'll swim into Google/MSDN to see if I can discover how this Windows-specific problem can be solved. If anybody knows how to convince Windows that an application is running while it is running, I'd appreciate any information.

AFAIK, this never happens on Linux or Mac OS X. Obviously, if an application is using CPU resources beyond the event queue, the operating system should not enter a sleep/hibernate state. At least this is what I consider "logical", but Windows is always amazing...
