Blink process crops images
« on: 2020 February 16 04:53:39 »
Hi
Basically new to Pixinsight and I have coma a cross a rater strange fenomena.

While using the Blink process I realized that when I choose to save the image using the crop option the image is actually cropped no suprice there.
But when I choose the option to Copy the image to a new location it still crops the image.
So I accidentely zoomed in slightly without noticing and lost 1pixel in with and 6 Pixels in hight.
This caused me much confusion and further processing issues when Pixinsight reported that the lights where not the same size as the flats and darks was out of the question.

Is this how the Blink process is designed to function or have I discovered a bug?

A suggestion: Is it possible to ad a height and with indication in below the preview in the Blink process?

Hi Bengt,

I cannot reproduce this behavior. The Copy feature always copies full size images. Are you sure you haven't clicked the Crop button by mistake?

For the Crop function, you can define a preview on the BlinkScreen image, which will be used as the cropping rectangle instead of the current view region. You can know the exact location and dimensions of a script by looking at the information tool bar, located on the bottom control bar by default.
