it is always the same story... people agrees to pay much more a Takahashi refractor (like FSQ106ED) than a basis Skywatcher one but cannot understand differences between software and the time spend by the developper ! Or even a software can have a cost.
That's right, I forget, software guys around the world who develop software are only some "geek" who work for free...
Juan doesn't need to drink or eat or even pay taxes, house, car, computer... no, all should come free for him from the heaven
And what is the price of a software license ? $10, $100, $1000 ? is there an officiel price where under this limit it is nice and upper it a shame (or more...)
I was 1 of the 1st to order my PI license in France when it was 1.2 or 1.3 version. If tomorrow, a new paid version arrived, I will be 1 on the 1st to order a upgrade license.
I have several license (PixInsight, photoshop monthly, photoshop plugins like Luminar, star tools, AstroPixelProcessor...), each has their own advantages but, for astrophotography processing, Pixinsight is on top of all of them. And really far on top.
For people who complain about price, I imagine you if 1 day your boss will tell you, from tomorrow you will work for free
Really, if you think Pix is too expensive, go to freeware solution... but don't complain.
