WBPP1.4.2 and PI 1.8.8.-2 error
« on: 2019 November 26 23:19:20 »
Hi
I have problems with WBPP 1.4.2. and PI 1.8.8.-2
Its always the same error, but randomly, that means 2-3 times the run is OK (so happy), another time the script stopped with this message

ErrorMessage:
“At address 00007FFDADD16240 with exeption code C0000005:
Acess violation: invalid memory read operation at adress 0000000000000008”

Rig:
Intel i7-9700 CPU@3.6GHz
Geforce RTX2080, Driver 441.20 (newest)
32 GB RAM (16GB RAM Disk)
Screen 2560x1440
SW: Windows 10 Pro, 64bit (with latest update)
Files to work: 56 lights, 40 flats

Thanks for any help
Ed

After this tests I have done the same on another rig.
Laptop Lenovo Thinkpad T470 with 16 GB RAM and intel i7-5700 CPU 2.9 GHz.
Three runs were succesfull!

I think that for my desktop station the graphic card is the problem, or perhaps the setup of the nvidia driver.

Excuse for my english. I am an italian.

The description for Event ID 1 could not be found from the NVIDIA source OpenGL Driver. The component that generated the event is not installed on the local computer or the installation is damaged. You can install or restore the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information was saved with the event.
The following information was saved with the event:
The GPU has been disconnected and this application may become unresponsive.

Error code: 10
 (pid=2040 tid=19380 pixinsight.exe 64bit)

Visit http://www.nvidia.com/page/support.html for more information.

I get "This device cannot start (Code 10)" when I try to install a new video card. How do I fix this?
The Code 10 error is most often a result of not having the option "Assign IRQ to VGA" enabled in your motherboards system BIOS.  Please note: Making changes to your system BIOS can cause your computer to malfunction or become inoperable.  If you are unsure how to make BIOS changes, don’t.  Seek assistance from your system administrator or technician.  If you are familiar with making changes to your BIOS, you may proceed with this section.
To enter the system BIOS for most PC’s, you need to repeatedly click the “F1” or “Del” key on your keyboard as soon as you turn on your computer until it brings you to the system BIOS.  If this does not bring you to your system BIOS, consult your motherboard manufacturer or system manufacturer for more information.  Once inside of the system BIOS, search for the option “Assign IRQ to VGA”.  Check that this option is enabled and then save these settings.  Exit the system BIOS and boot back into Windows.  The error code should be gone.
