Windows cannot find / open PixInsight if clicked on XISF or any related PI file

When I click on a XISF file or saved PI Process Icon Windows can not find PixInsight.  I get Windows error messages...

  *The feature are trying to use is on a network resource that it unavailable*
  *Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to the folder...etc

I try to reassign the files to the correct path and I keep getting errors.  It keeps looking for a *.msi package.  Even if I try to reassociate the file to PI executable.

PI opens without any issues when I click on the desktop icon.

What's going on here and how can I correct it?

Hi,

Try this....find a PixInsight data file (.XISF) and right-click ---> Open with ---> Choose another app, scroll down to find the PixInsight program and also check the box that says "Always use this app to open .XISF files ---> Ok.   I do the same for .FITS files.
