Baffled! Cant stretch?

All of a sudden I cant seem to be able to stretch an image.

Example, make a clone of an image, use histogram to adjust the clone for a mask. Get it where it looks good and try new instance, and or apply. The image alters but the green band on the image tab remains and the mask is not stretched!

What am I missing here? Not a newbie to PI but I am Baffeled at this!

Probably something simple I am overloking.

the green band indicates that the STF is active... it won't go away for any other reason than turning off the STF. so that's not a mystery.

you say "the image alters" ... "and the mask is not stretched"... which is it? when you say "alters" don't you mean it was stretched by the HistogramTransformation process?
