Subframe Selection - before or after Calibration?
« on: 2019 June 22 00:48:02 »
Just wondering if it makes any difference if I run SSEL before or after calibrating light frames?

Thanks

I blink - calibrate - weight. This order seem preferable as the weights more closely reflect the quality of the frames as they will become part of a stack. Of course, each color of subframes should be weighted separately. Also, the order b-c-w becomes more relevant if you use parameters in addition to the default SNRWeight - which I recommend doing with the aid of a spreadsheet. (I  can supply the one I developed. If interested, write me at alex(at)awkml.com and I will email it w/ a brief explanation.)
