Subframe Selector for Solar images?
« on: 2019 May 10 09:57:01 »
Normally I take 1000-3000 frame .ser and stack 5-20% based on seeing and quality in another program. Recently I converted the .ser to .fit and aligned and stacked in PI. I set up subframe selector and used SNRweight to select images. Any other parameters I could use that would estimate quality and seeing without having stars (well one big star)?  I assume this would be applicable to lunar images as well

Thanks
