Mac Licecne Location
« on: 2019 April 21 02:11:32 »
Hi All,

I have Pixinsight installed on my Macbook and i have just rebuilt my iMac desktop.   For the life of me, i cannot find the licence file on my Macbook to copy across to my iMac!

I have looked in the user/home/library folder as per the FAQ on licences. Nothing there.   Applications/Pixinsight  cant see it there either!    Is there a specific file name i can search for?

Any help please?

Rgds
Aidan

nevermind...   Found how to reveal the hidden folders and found the file.   Was suprised that a search did not reveal the file even if it was hidden...

Hi Aidan,

You can select Go > Go to Folder on Finder, and specify ~/Library/PixInsight. Or you can use PixInsight's File Explorer window and enable the Show Hidden Files option to see *everything* in your Mac's filesystem.
