Invalid unlock operation Previews and Arrange Icons grayed out

Hi,

I have received a report of individual that is reporting "Invalid unlock operation. Preview01 The view is locked for write operations" when applying a process to a preview and
also complains that the Arrange Icons is grayed out and he cannot perform this option.

Although they seem different..I wonder if the cause is related.
Has anyone seen this issue and know the reason?
(I have not...and cannot even guess what is going on.)

It appears this is happening to this individual in normal circumstances... no scripts and not exiting anything that I am aware of.
Hmmm...

Thanks for looking it up.
If there are any other ideas please let me know. This particular fellow is pretty disappointed in his first PI ventures.
