Hi, are the values in the FITS Header of the acquired images relevant in the calibration process? I have observed, that in the latest version of APT the GAIN value and eGAIN value was incorrect written in the FITS header. Yesterday I've made light and flat frames and developed this images with my master dark and masterbias frames from last year ( form Aug 2018). Suddenly in the final Master light frame its a sort of banding visible (in a full set of bias, dark, flat and light frames made last year there is NO banding visible). I've inspected the fits header of the raw files and there are differencies in the gain (1 vs 202) and egain values (4.90322... vs 0.48470...). Therefore my question: do different gain and gain values in the calibration process (regardless of full manual calibration process or batch preprocessing script) matter?
