Cosmetic Correct - Can it be overdone

Hello,

Learning a bit about CC and looking at online information. I am not finding formal documentation and if anyone knows of one please let me know.

My question is regarding tweaking the adjustments for CC and if there is a chance that CC can be overdone and how to best detect if too much is being done to the image.

It most certainly can be overdone. If you set the sigma levels too low you start destroying data rather than hot pixels. Use a preview that contains errant pixels and adjust the sigma slider until you JUST get rid of the hot pixels and no more.
