Good day all,
I am getting this error when I am trying to run a Dynamic PSF on either image I have previous processed or a new image.
Error message: The view is being used by active dynamic interface
What can I do to correct this error?

You have a dynamic procedure still open from an earlier operation (e.g., Dynamic Crop). Close the dialog box for that operation.

Hi Alex,
I do not see any other operations running. I have closed Pixinsight and also reboot the computer still getting the error.
Is there a way to see what process are still running and if so how can I stop the process?

Other than examining the Process Console, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe a more connected user can help....Sorry.

Don
Any of the Dynamic processes will cause this. I have a screenshot showing them listed in the "All processes" menu listing. A couple of others that come to mind are Clonestamp and Annotate. There maybe more. These processes capture the image and do not allow other dynamic tools access until the tool is exited(closed). I can't explain why this is but I'm sure Juan had a great reason many many years ago when these tools were being introduced.

I have done a Pixinsight rest and the problem still exist.
I cannot see any dynamic process running.
There should be a command line interface that would terminate all dynamic process's.
Been looking all day on the forum and still have found nothing releating to this issue.

When you say a Pixinsight rest what do you mean? Are you opening a saved project or starting each time with just a single image? You might look at your other workspaces and see if there is a dynamic process open in one of those.

Hi that was a type-o rest=reset
Plus I am opening one image at time. I have not done a project yet.
The other item I have found is that if I open one image and run dynamic crop first that process will work. When I open DynamicPSF thats when the error message appears.
