Comet alignment artifacts
« on: 2018 September 09 12:33:42 »
Hi guys,

Every time I use comet alignment process I got those ugly border artifacts (see screenshot). Yes, I could manually crop them, but they shouldn't appear in the first place. Looks like a buffer clearing issue. Could you please fix them?

P.S. I love PixInsight! Thanks you so much for making it happen!

It looks like it has something to do with LinearFit and areas without signal (equal to zero). I've got those results while subtracting stars-only image from a sub (see the difference with and without LinearFit).

Update: hmm, it looks like it appears even without LinearFit (albeit rarely)
