DSLR RAW black point - read out by PI? need for pedestal compensation?

Hello,
my 16 bit DSLR RAW files have a black point offset of 1024.
Do I have to uncheck "no black point correction" in DSLR RAW_module?
Do I have to manually input this offset anywhere else? (when stacking / calibrating : pedestal?)

In DSLR RAW Format Preferences push the button 'Pure Raw'. This causes that monochrome CFA images are created from the raw DSLR images and that no black point correction or stretching is applied. The light frames have to be calibrated (with master calibration files that are also CFA images), then debayered (= converted to RGB images), aligned and integrated. The workflow is described and explained in my guide,

.
You don't need to manually input the bias offset.
