Hi
I have been trying to use the noise evaluation script on full images ( 2K x 2K ) and it just hangs my PC  :'(
Is there a max size of image it will work with!

Hi Harry,

No, there's no specific limit, but the script is slow because it is interpreted code (JavaScript). However, it shouldn't be so slow for a 4 Mpx image.

Anyway, never mind - the upcoming PI 1.5.5 comes with the noise evaluation routines implemented as native code, so the noise evaluation script now runs in a blaze ;)

Just for your info I could get it to work on small preview with no problems, but never with a full image
