ok.. wanted to again say thank you for all of you who have taken the time to reply and help me with this!

I believe I am happy with the results for now, ive posted a link to it on Astrobin (hope thats allowed here)

thanks again everyone! now that ive got the knowledge on how to generally combine LRGB images, my next should be easier sailing at least in regards to combination!
