How to report star fwhm statistics for a list of images

Hello All,

Relatively new PI user here.

I have 5 FITS images gathered from the CCD camera and want to sort them by quality. By quality I mean the FWHM of lets say the 10 brightest but not saturated stars. How do I do that? (OK, sort by the FWHM of the 10 brightest stars is good enough, as I don't care so much about saturation)

Try the SubframeSelector script.  It will give you a variety of quality metrics for comparing subs.
