MBM54 and NGC7497
« on: 2017 October 13 04:43:08 »
Hi everyone,
wanted to share with you the result of my last imaging run. Not an easy object and I had a big plans for it in September with imaging 3 nights in a row. Of course the weather had different plans than mine ...
The second night with clouds rolling in and out and the third night were completely ruined, leaving me with insufficient amount of data in RGB channels.
So, as always, we work with what we got and here is what I could pull out of collected data:

During processing I found out that there is a great amount of background galaxies, simply amazing, so I decided to create annotated version were I could easily mark more than 80 far distant worlds!
There is of course even more than 80 which looks like a single stars, so I didn't marked them, only the brightest and obvious.

Almost 13 hours of data

Thank you!

Mike and Rick, thank you, guys!

Mike, your calculations for the setup helped a lot. Had to reconfigure everything, because now Precise Parts make only 75mm long adapters. But everything fit spot on!
