I finally updated to the latest version of PI as well as the latest version of LittleSnitch.
LittleSnitch is a smart firewall for Macs. Been using it since the product came out about 10 years ago.
Being an application smart firewall, it knows which applications make what network requests and before establishing a connection it asks if it is OK to make it. Very nifty to find applications that are not supposed to make network connections try to establish them over 443, 80, TCP, UDP, whatever.
In any case, after installing the 1.8.5 of PI, I am greeted with this warning today: "no valid code signature", which raises the question: does PixInsight have one?
