Hello Enzo,

That's a very nice work. Which processing steps did you implement in PixInsight to process that image?

Keep up the excellent work.

Hello Juan,
sorry for my rough english. I hope you understand me. For my image, my goal was to bring out large structures enhancing small scale structures with the the À Trous Wavelets tool. It's a powerfull tool, but not so simple to use, in fact, I have read the tutorial by Vicent Peris about multiscale processing. It's a great tutorial!  And PixInsight is a great software.  I had used a similar approach for this image of VDB142, but with PixInsight  LE. Here is the link:

Buona sera Enzo,

Your English is way better than my Italian <G>

Your VDB142 image is wonderful. I like it in every aspect, especially the way you have processed the variety of structures at different scales, and how you have controlled the noise (did you apply noise reduction?).

Thank you very much for your nice words about PixInsight. I am proud to see such beautiful images and knowing that our work has contributed to some extent in producing them.

I agree that Vicent's work is really good. He is exploring and developing novel techniques that open a whole new, fresh way to understand image processing. Multiscale techniques are avant-garde, extremely powerful processing resources, and we are investing a lot of effort to achieve the best implementations.

Keep those great images coming.

Ciao Juan,
thank you for the kind words about my image. Yes, I have applied a bit of SGBNR noise reduction. I will post here any prox images processed with PixInsight, therefore all my prox images: PixInsight has become essential for my work! Arrivederci,

Enzo

Hi Enzo,

You have outstandings images here.
I like the colors, I like the sharpness of the stars, I like the softness of the nebulae, I don't like...well...nothing  :D

Clear skies,

Luc
