Unable to save Project
« on: 2015 March 29 02:15:48 »
I have been saving Projects for some time. All of a sudden I am getting the following message when trying to save an existing or new Project.

StarAlignment: Unable to lock parameter data for read-only access: referenceStarX

Not sure what has changed. Please advise.

I also get this a lot of the time - very frustrating.   Did anyone come up with an answer?

I find that even after saving and deleting every image open in a project (thereby losing "history" information), i can't save the completely empty project.

Nope, never got an answer. I even completely re-installed PI. For a while everything was OK. And then the problem reappeared. Not sure what to do next. ;-(

Just searching through the forum as this is a new problem for me.  Has there been any solution to this?

Thanks Rick,
Turns out that didn't work.  But I figured out a workaround for anybody who cares.  The issue appears to have been that I had been trying to do star alignment of master LRGBHa frames.  The original frames had been stored with their rejection maps and even though I deleted the rejection maps, something happened that it didn't like saving them.

In any case, I resaved the files without the rejection maps, and then registered and saved it without a problem.

Onward and upward.  Thanks for the reply.

Stuart
