Network error, timed out

Hi .
I am trying to trial Pixlnsight and have received an activation code.
I enter both the user ID code and the activation code, after about 3 minutes I get a message saying " network error, timed out after 300484 milliseconds "

I have run a scan and Anti Malware and found no problems.
I'm using windows 10.

Any advice please..

Thanks, but everything else is working fine, all web pages and other apps work no problem.
I don't understand why only PixInsight not working.

I have limited time trial which is running out fast and I still have not used it.

I am hoping to purchase if I get on well with it.

I have uninstalled then reinstalled PixInsight and it now runs.

You might need to adjust your firewall. This is from the trial License page,  Extended information on our trial software versions https://pixinsight.com/trial/


Each time you launch the trial PixInsight executable, it runs a special HTTP client routine that connects to our server to validate your license. If your system is protected by a firewall software, it might detect PixInsight's connection attempt as a potentially dangerous outbound connection. You must permit this connection to the Internet, or PixInsight won't run. You should be able to specify Internet access permissions through configuration settings in your firewall or anti-virus software.

Thanks. I did have to switch firewall off to startup Pixinsight.

I re installed PI too.
