Hi There:
I'm fairly new to astrophotography... I've done some Milky Way landscape images last Summer and Fall and built myself a little tracker which did an OK job. I've been fairly active in Photoshop for a number of years so I'm familiar with most digital post processing techniques. I just bought myself a little Sky Watcher Star Adventurer tracker and would like to start doing some deep sky images on objects such as Orion, Andromeda, etc., that are within reach on my Nikon D7200 camera and Nikon 300mm f4 lens.
I just got my 45-day free trial version of Pixinsight, but my problem essentially is the weather here in Ottawa. It's been cloudy for most of the last month with little improvement expected in the foreseeable future, and as such, I have no data files to work with.
Does anyone know of a location on the internet where I could get some raw files so I can start practicing with Pixinsight?
Thanks so much,
Rudy
