Problem Debayering Celestron Nightscape 10MPix camers
« on: 2017 February 19 15:17:19 »
I'm a newbie and have been working through Warren Keller's very helpful book.  Everything was fine till I got to Debayering in Chapter 4, One Shot Color.  At this point, nothing seemed to work as explained in the book.  The ScreenTransferFunction doesn't respond as expected and the debayering doesn't appear to be at all correct.  My key question is, is there something special (or a problem) with the 10Mpx Nightscape camera?  Does anyone in the community have experience with this camera and PixInsight?  I would greatly appreciate any ideas/hints.  Thanks, Bob Keyser, varuna781@gmail.com.

I'm doing the same with a qhy10 trying to learn PI. Got the same problem with debayering . If I'm correct debayering wont work on colour images.  They have to be monochrome.

Hi Bob/Mark, can you share one of the image to take a look?

Saludos, Alejandro.
