Batch Processing Script V1.43 using only light frames
« on: 2016 November 26 13:08:51 »
I am new to PixInsight but I am hanging in there.

I am trying to calibrate/align etc.  my pictures taken recently and the ones I am trying to use are only Light Frames.  No dark or bias and flat frames.
I set up the script properly (I think) in the Batch Processing area of PixInsight and I get errors such as the system can't find the dark or bias or flat frames.

I can't seem to get around this situtation and am wondering if its actually possible to stack a bunch of Light Frames only. ??

I know its a whole lot better to have at least some flat frames in there,  but I have none.  Does this mean I have to go to other software to achieve what I am after?

Thanks..

Sure. On the menu across the top, select Process-Image-Registration-StarAlignment. Once that is done, using the output from registration, select Process-ImageIntegration-ImageIntegration.

Thanks....
I gave that a try and indeed I ended up with an image.

I need to play with this a bit to see how this all goes together.  Or works etc..  But I am very happy that there is a way to process only Light Files..

Thanks..
