HDRComposition Incompatible image geometry
« on: 2016 October 28 11:04:05 »
I am getting a "incompatible image geometry" in HDRComposition.

My *.cr2 (DLSR) images were processed with 1. BatchPreprocessing script, 2. ImageIntegration process, 3. DynamicCrop; and 4. DynamicBackgroundExtraction. I used two different projects for each compiled image and saved the image as a xisf file.
I am not sure why I get the error unless DynamicCrop should not be used. The images were taken with dithering enabled so I cropped each result to remove the edges. Is this an issue? How should each master be created after the processing inorder for HDRComposition to not get "incompatible image geometry" error.   (note all the original images were take on the same night with identical setups). Below is the log output.

Thanks in advance for any help or recommendations.

Brent

you need to make sure you apply the exact same dynamic crop to both images. you can ensure this by saving a process icon for dynamic crop and applying it to the other image.

however, if the two original images do not have the same geometry to begin with, this won't work right. in that case you should re-register one of the images, or better yet, go back and make sure that both images had the same registration reference image.
