unable to read a file
« on: 2016 October 10 10:31:50 »
Hello

Have been trying to do a BPP like always and now I am getting an error message. Using MAC El Captain 10.11.6 with newest PixInsight 10.08.04.1199. Yesterday was working correctly and now will not read a file (refer screen shot below). Even though process console says Cosmetic correction reports successful folder does not exist (have checked outside of Pixinsight and the cosmetized folder does not exist (not created by PixInsight as in the past PLEASE HELP

Hello Again

Further review of situation. If I close BPP and then open Batch debayer and add the files the files are located in the correct folder and readable it seems that BPP will not read the folder or the files. Actualyy tried twice and putit on different directory and drive.

Hi Steve,

I think the problem may be that your file names start with a white space character. This is not supported. Rename all of them (the originals) to remove the leading spaces and try BPP again. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks Juan

Sometimes I use a different computer with PixInsight but storage of projects and Pre-Processing is still on the other computer so when I connect to that storage area the file name has that character. When I do everything in Pixinsight on computer with completed work it works fine Thanks again

Hola Juan

I still get the same error message with a set of files. I have changed the name numerous times and no spaces in front of the name either. i have also changed destination of the files as well. The files are written to the appropriate spot it is just the BPP will not read those files. I am trying to Bayer drizzle my data. Refer to the log file and you can see what is going on. I watched the console and it looked like the files were saved after the /with no space but when it goes to read the file it seems to look for a space and then it can not find the file.

Please help
