Cosmetic Correction issue
« on: 2016 September 16 21:23:05 »
I've encountered an issue running CC on a set of images that are 4008x2672. If I specify a row defect for an entire row then the image data in columns 2673 to 4007 is set to zero in that row.

You can see this in the files here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bvxdshwkkt1wt6e/AACZaxT6BenaqtgeepU9Ia5Xa?dl=0 where I've run CC on the .FIT to produce the .XISF. The only CC parameters that I specified are a row defect on row 618

Hi, any update on this? I think it's a fairly serious bug. I should clarify that, at least for the images I've provided, it happens for any row correction that's extends past column 2672. Not just corrections on the entire row.

I'm imagining that there's a loop somewhere that's using height instead of width to do cosmetic correction on a row.

Hi John, I can reproduce it.
A possible workaround while it is fixed is to work only in vertical. Repair the vertical lines, then rotate the image 90º, save it and load the rotated image again in CC and repair the horizontal lines now as vertical problems.
Hope it helps.
