Removing Vertical Bands - KAI-11000 sensor

It looked like there was work being done on a PI tool to fix these problems - there are threads involving Bob Franke, the author of CCD BandAid. But the conversation seems to have stopped a couple of years ago.

Has any progress been made?

Clear skies,

I know I had some strange patterns on my chip once and it seems using an additional ferrite around the power supply took care of it. One thing to check is cables and power supply. I always try to isolate my power from the rest of the cables to avoid any electrical interference possibilities. It's a carry over from my communication days in HVAC computer zoning systems I guess.

back around when bob posted that stuff i thought i read something about the problem being how the chip was clocked by external the circuitry... thought that there were FPGA upgrades from at least some camera manufacturers that were supposed to fix the problem...?
