My way of navigating this forum (and all phpbb based ones) is by loading "View posts since last visit" and refresh it whenever I want. When I read all unread posts and refresh this page, the icon for the posts changes from orange (unread) to white (read). If any orange icon is left, I know that someone else posted something while I was reading. If my session ever timeouts, the refresh operation gives me the login window and, when I enter my credentials, the "View posts since last visit" page appears without any additional effort on my part. This is ok and I like it.
Now, since a couple of days ago, icons remain always orange so it's more difficult to keep track of read and unread posts. I'm forced to manually log out and log in to "clean" the list. Have any of you observed the same issue?
