SFSWeight is 87.35 in Table but 8.735E+001in FITS Header
« on: 2016 September 08 06:57:25 »
I am following some of the options from this thread:
http://www.cloudynights.com/topic/517533-pixinsight-sub-selection-and-integration-settings-a-long-read/

I get what looks like a good number in the Table view of SFS, but then when the keyword is written to the header it changes to scientific notation.

Have I checked a box to so the number displays differently in the header?
Is it due to too many places after the decimal?  Should I round off? (How??)
Does it matter when going through Image Integration?

If it doesn't matter I'm content to leave it the way it is.

Thanks,
Jeff

8.735e+01 = 87.35, so why are you worrying?
