TGVDenoise, TGVRestoration & TGVInpaint

Hey Folks,

These new tools have been around for months now but I have yet to see many posts detailing their usage.  TGVDenoise is pretty straightforward following using Vicent's description in its release post here:

But he doesn't go into much detail on Restroration or Inpaint.  Has anybody gotten comfortable enough in using these tools to give the rest of us some ideas on how to get the most out of them?  I have seen mention of TVGInpaint for star reduction but not much else.  I am particularly interested in a primer on TGVRestoration if anybody has one.

Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

I think you've seen most of the ways I use Inpaint.  As far as Restoration I don't have images that I use deconvolution on so I haven't invested any time with this tool. When I look at TGVResoration I would think you simply apply the same techniques used in TGVDenoise instead of Wavelet Regulation and the other settings would be just like you use in Deconvolution.

Carlos had mentioned some time ago that there was going to be all new versions of these tools so I have been waiting for those. Also I don't think there are OSX versions of these tools yet.

I have seen your posts on Inpaint but need to investigate those further.  And for the rest, just need to get off my duff and play with them for a while.
