Debayer woe's
« on: 2016 July 14 17:04:25 »
Hi, I'm Paul;
     First post. I have a Canon 60Da DLSR. I have been carefully following the "Tutorial (PixInsight Processing):
?Pre-processing (Calibrating and Stacking) Images in PixInsight" tutorial by Light Vortex Astronomy. with the cravat that all intermediate files are .xixf. All is well til debayer, with RGGB matrix pattern where all files are tinted gold.  >:D. Other Debayer patterns give red, green, turquoise.  One issue I had with collecting data is somehow Auto Rotate was toggled on on the DLSR for much of the run.

Settings: Format Explorer
DLSR Raw, cr2, Create raw Bayer CFA image, No image flip, and Pure Raw

Create all Masters including Super Bias are in Gray scale.
Calibrate Lights. no errors.

Debayer.... Gold color

Hmmm... I tried searches through the forums.

Any ideals about what went wrong

Paul

Hi Paul, welcome to the forum.
Have you checked your debayer image with unlinked channels in STF?
Saludos, Alejandro.
