Zero or insignificant signal detected (empty image?)
« on: 2018 December 05 09:44:26 »
Hello,

I am having a bit a trouble integrating a bunch of dark frames. The first problem is that the resulting master has artifacts that I cannot trace back to anything. Since I have tried DSS and the resulting master looks normal I am looking at what might be a selection that I am making in PI that might be causing the problem. So I just started re-doing the integration and I unselected the use of cache.

Now, during integration some of my files are found to be blank due to the subject error message. All the files are the same, I do not know why it should be causing this error.

Thanks for the help.

Farzad

Hi,

If you are using a DSLR or OSC, the problem could be in the "RAW" settings.  Try this, select View ---> Explorer Windows ---> Format Explorer ---> RAW ---> Edit Preferences ---> Pure Raw ---> Ok.

You will then need to redo your workflow for processing your Lights.

I am using a monochrome camera, and it turned out that those files had become corrupted during transfer from a computer to a thumb drive then to another computer.

Thanks for replying.
