When I run the aperture photometry script I select:
  Generate images with detected stars
  Save debug images
Generate a table for each image with its information

This all works perfectly.

When analyzing either the detected stars image or the table I often find I need to look at the other.  For instance, if I see a specific detected star and want to see what is table information looks like, or looking at the table and see something odd about a star and want to see it on the image.

What would be convenient is if the detected star image would annotate each star with its table record number (1, 2, 3 etc).  The stars I assume would be added to the table from some direction and increment so it would be easy for instance to find star '48'.  In the script this would be added when the aperture is displayed around the star and would use the table index as the value displayed.

Would this be easy to do?
