Mac OS X keyboard shortcut

There is a very minor problem I have had with all versions of PI with Mac OS X: The keyboard shortcut to start drawing a preview, Option-N, does not work unless I first press Control-N (which has no visible effect). After that, the shortcut works for that session. This is a specific example but not the only case.

I have experienced the same thing.  Sometimes it just never works if I've had the program open for a while.

i think these are basically bugs in the MacOSX port of Qt. hopefully juan will comment - i see it too. usually the command -r, -g, -b, -0 shortcuts stop working for me though that has not happened in a while.

Any further insight? Still happening to me on El Capitan and latest PixInsight OS X version.

Not reproducible. All Image > Mode keyboard shortcuts work perfectly on OS X with the current version of PixInsight.

Are you using a small Apple keyboard (without numeric keypad)? Then this may be similar to the issue reported in this thread.

Please note that all keyboard shortcuts are claimed to work only on a standard keyboard (with numeric keypad) on all platforms.
