Width of File Open Dialog Boxes
« on: 2016 February 20 04:57:09 »
My image file names are quite long. Is there a way to set a default "wide" view to the file open box (on OS X if it matters)?

Hi, Maybe it depend on the system. I am using linux and can set the width and it remain that way even if close and reopen PixInsight.
Saludos, Alejandro.

Thanks

I did find a simpler OS X workaround. There is a small icon in the upper left corner of the file open dialog box that controls the display of the left sidebar. I start with mine open. On click closes the sidebar and gives a wider name field. A second click widens the window further and reopens the side bar. This gives enough room for my needs.

Have to do this every time though. Still defaults to small dialog box.
