installed demo 4 weeks ago. went through online video on processing first image, worked fine. put aside for couple of weeks, return to software and upon opening a tif to test, icons along the top of the screen were all greyed out, as well the mouse would only show in the tif window. find that the software is intermittent, opening will sometimes give unable to connect to server or will give a unable to start program error. restart and then it opens but sometimes with same icon issues. also find that the tvgnoise option will prevent me from using the sliders to set the rates I want to adjust. when things are at the worst. cannot click the close x, does nothing. the named top options and child options all work but the mouse options all seem to be buggy. uninstalled and reinstalled, software said update was available. went to latest version for windows. same issues. plenty of memory and cpu is 4.2. hd is ssd. win 7.

add, curves transformation is giving no access to drag the adjustment line, just able to point and click. at times the cursor will just give a right/left or up/down arrow cursor.

Fixed. Still experimenting. seems to be related to needing the video drivers upgraded. Strange thing is it worked and without any upgrades to system, failed several weeks later.

12feb - ran google earth and discovered the scroll of main window worked but icons didn't. upon shutdown of google earth, pixinsight has the issues first reported. This time a restart from power off seems to have restored pixinsight to working order. google earth video interference?

This cannot be reproduced on any supported platform. This behavior has not been observed on any of our working and testing machines, including Linux, OS X and Windows 7/8.1/10 physical and virtual machines.

From my experience, this sounds like a hardware issue. In rare occasions we have seen really weird problems caused by malfunctioning wireless devices. Damaged video cards and wrong video drivers are also capable of very strange problems. Hope this helps.
