Crash with read only directory
« on: 2016 January 04 11:42:04 »
Hi,

Here's a crash report using PixInsight Core 01.08.04.1195 Ripley (x64) on Mac.

ImageCalibration process and select an Output directory which is read only (not writable). Output extension .xisf. When you run the process on a batch of .fit files and it tries to write the first calibration file PI crashes. If you leave the Output extension box empty (assumes .fit) and run the process. It runs with error messages appearing in the Process console but PI doesn't crash.

Regards

John

Hi John,

Bug confirmed. This is a small bug in the XISF support module, which I'll fix in the next version. Thank you for reporting.

No problem. It took me a few restarts to realise what I was doing wrong! I'd accidentally chosen a write protected external drive to write to  ::)
