OSC Flats...
« on: 2016 January 05 18:12:53 »
As basic as this sounds, I wanted to be clear.  When I create a MasterFlat with my one shot ST8300 RAW subs do I need to deBayer them at any point or just proves the RAW frames as any other Flats?

no, they do not need to be debayered.  the master flat (and master dark and master bias) should all be in CFA (bayer) format, either mono or 3-channel.

after calibration of the lights, you debayer the calibrated lights, then run star alignment, and finally imageintegration.

When using Cosmetic Correction, when do you debayer,  before or after CC?

Thanks,

I believe it would be as a work flow:

image calibration
Cosmic Correction
Batch Debayer Script
Star Alignment
Image integration
