SHO-AIP Acting up
« on: 2015 November 15 13:28:11 »
I am having issues with SHO-AIP's ability to create a luminance image since updating the 1190.  The listed SHO-AIP version is 1.0.10.  There were no issues in past iterations but when I try to use the tool now I get something like the following no matter what settings I use:

PixelMath: Processing view: MIXSHO_AIP
Writing swap files...
5792.289 MiB/s
*** Error: Unknown function identifier:
K1 = 1.00; K2 = 0.60; IMG1 = IC1396__Ha_DBE_DCrop_r_DCrop_MLT_HT_LFit; IMG2 = IC1396__SII_DBE_DCrop_r_DCrop_MLT_HT_LFit; Max( (IMG1 * K1), (IMG2 * K2) )

I am running PixInsight on a Linux machine using Mint 17.2

Thanks,

Jim
Really, are clear skies, low wind and no moon that much to ask for?

Hi Jim,

Try opening SHO-AIP.js and global replace Max( by max(.

May need to do the same for Min, Avg, Med, Sqrt, ...

The new release apparently doesn't recognize the uppercase function names.

Thanks,
Mike

Bug confirmed. I am fixing it right now, thank you for detecting this problem.

I use 1.0.11 since a while... Maybe there is the same error ? I have no seen problem (just an error when closing it)
