Juan & company,
Based on your advice I have been on a year long adventure to convert to Linux to maximize my use of PI and have finally got that in place. But questions remain and I have seen any number here and elsewhere on the forum, especially as they relate to how people set up their Linux systems for PI dedicated work (swap files and ramdisks come immediately to mind but there have been others, such as getting drivers to work, etc). I am sure there are lots of people like me who really want to get our systems set up right in Linux for PI but hate clogging up other forum sections like this one with these types of technical questions and the web is hit or miss in finding advice to make effective use of PI. People have been kind enough to respond to my private queries, but others may want to see how to make this work as well. Since the Linux version is the best supported, most stable version of PI, is there a way that we could create a little side section for those of us wanting to get everything we can out of PI in the Linux environment without hijacking another section of the forum?
If not, no worries, just an idea.
Best,
Jim
