First Post! Question regarding SHO

Hello everybody!

I wanted some insight with SHO palettes.  I have an Ha-modified Nikon D7000 paired with an IDAS LPS-V4 filter (which acts almost like narrowband for Ha, Hb, and OIII).  Obviously there's no narrowband SII data, but I'm wondering if it's possible to do this with what data I do have. 

When you process SHO data, are they in color or mono?
Since it's one shot color, should I process each channel separately with DBE, denoise, and deconvolution before combining?
When I try SHO-AIP I keep getting deep green and magenta colors, but missing a third color channel (at least that's what it looks like).

It gives lots of clues on how to set up and use SHO-AIP though you are going to have to experiment with the mixes given your data set.  On your other points, I would definitely clean up your individual channels first and even stretch them before applying SHO.  It can be done both ways but I have seen the cleanest results when you use stretched images.

Ok great I didn't think to make them non-linear first.  Though not the same, I could possibly make a synthetic SII channel with my H-beta (blue pixels) mixed with some H-alpha (red pixels). 

Would applying noise reduction to the decreased resolution of the red and blue channels compared to green cause problems?

So long as that channel is not used to build your lum image, it shouldn't be a major issue since it will just be contributing color.  You just need to make sure that that the blend does not result in enlarged stars in that channel which could cause problems in getting star colors to line up properly.
