Deconvolution result does not match preview
« on: 2015 September 05 14:44:50 »
Hello Forum,
haven't work with deconvolution for about a year, now I was suprised with my newest image of M31. I made a preview and everthing works fine. After applying the deconvolution on the whole image, I recognized, that deringing makes white rings around the stars, never seen in the preview. I cannot tune Global dark and Global bright with the whole image, that would last to long.
Is this a bug or ist there a trick to avoid this?

Hi Thomas, this is how deconvolution works. Try increasing the previews watching how the deringing affect the rings that it will help, but you must make the last test in a preview of the full image.
Saludos, Alejandro.

Hi Thomas, this is how deconvolution works.
Hello Alejandro,
thanks for your reply, my image is a result of a drizzle integrated KAF11000 image at 8008px width, and my preview was large, so I had to wait 20sec even with my PC with a xeon processor. I will try to make it larger. Not really satisfying.
