If your using Windows you can type *.* into the filename box and then return. A listing of all files will now fill the selection box. You do need to be using native file handling. If you notice there is a WCS file in that directory. I tested Imagesolver and it did save the resulting file as a xisf. The *.* works in any Windows program!
