When the HT horizontal zoom factor is changed (either by entering a new number or clicking the up or down arrow), it would be helpful if the histogram were zoomed and panned in such a way to try to keep the current central histogram position unchanged in the view, if possible.
Usually I am looking at the central "interesting" area of the histogram when I zoom in or out, and I would like that position to remain invariant across the zoom. As it is now, the central portion almost always scrolls out of view, and it can be tedious to scroll to relocate that portion after a zoom.
